This year, over 100 bills about student data privacy were introduced in legislative sessions around the country. #FixFERPA is trending on Twitter and an ever-growing number of parents are asking, “Exactly -what is happening to my child’s data?” Do you know enough to answer those questions? Make sure you do! Come and make sense of buzzwords like Big Data, CEDS, SLDS, and interoperability. Learn the basics of data quality and what you can do to inform yourself and parents.
