Electrify Your STEM and Language Arts with Technology
What better way to solidify student thinking than to have them document their observations using technology? This session provides a unique opportunity to have a hands-on experience while diving deep into STEM and Language Arts. Focusing on the S, T and E part of STEM, participants will engage in hands-on activities and use technology to document their scientific observations. After a short introduction to electricity, you will use the Engineering Design Process to create a simple switch. Using Google documents, participants will create a presentation to share their findings. When leaving this session teachers should be able to create an authentic STEM activity and integrate language arts using technology.
