Choosing the Right Student Device for 1:1

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

As you know, there are many choices for student devices in the market today, From low-cost devices like the HP Stream running Win8, to Android tablets and Chromebooks. The good news is you now have many device options and form factors available. The bad news is you have many options available and lots of decisions to be made to get the right device that will support the instructional needs/requirements, and deliver improvements in student engagement and outcomes.

Come participate in a presentation and interactive dialog around the plethora of device options, pros and cons and things to consider. An Education Technology Cheet Sheet will be provided. This handy “cheat sheet” lists the common challenges faced by teachers, students, administrators and district IT directors along with possible device and digital resource solutions. http://www.intel.com/education/k12
